Colouring of $mathbbN$ that avoids all non-constant infinite arithmetic progressions? Can you color every positive integer either black or white such that there are no entirely white or entirely black non-constant infinite arithmetic progressions? How about switching color every power of 2? 1,4,5,6,7,16,...,31,64,... 2,3,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,32,... Any attempt at an AP would eventually get cut off. All you need to do is to make increasingly large blocks of each color. – lulu Aug 19 at 20:02 It seems like you answer your own question – Clayton Aug 19 at 20:03 6 Answers 6 Color the first integer white, the next two integers black, the next three integers white, etc. We will call these sections of successive integers with the same colors, "blocks". Thus we have successively blocks of length 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Now consider an arithmetic progression $a_n = a_0 + nd$ for some positive integers $a_0, d$ ($n = 0, 1, 2, dots$). Let $k$ be a positiv...

I have already gotten a new passport. The lost passport had a visa for 3 months family visit which was recently issued. The visa will expire in October. I have a copy of the visa. Original hard copy of the visa is with my husband. I want to know if I can travel on the same visa which was in the lost passport. Do I need to get a new visa because it will be registered with a different passport? passports indian-citizens share | improve this question edited Jul 16 at 18:49 mkennedy 5,664 23 39 asked Jul 16 at 17:54 ramya 2 closed as unclear what you're asking by brhans, dda, Giorgio, Newton, Ali Awan Jul 17 at 3:52 Please clarify your specific problem or add additional details to highlight exactly what you need.
