Transit visa for Canada [closed]

My boyfriend and I are going to see my family in Germany. He will be flying from Cuba to Montreal and then we will meet in the airport to fly 6 hours later to Germany. On the way back there is a 12-hour layover.
Now immigration Canada could not answer the question about the date to put in and also if I have to apply for 2 visas, one going to Cuba, Montreal and Germany and Germany, Montreal, Cuba.
Does anyone have an idea?

We cannot answer this question without more information. 1 what nationalities are you and your boyfriend? 2 where are you both starting from 3 exactly which countries are you both visiting and for how long?
